If I could describe Portland in one word it would be “beautiful.” Roses, rain, rivers, and Mount Hood as its backdrop; what a display of God’s glorious creation. Then you meet the people—oh, the people! This city has the most unique mix of people groups; a true melting pot with very few Portlanders native to the region. It seems the most unique, weird and eccentric decided to move here. God’s glorious creation, magnified. And don’t forget the food–it’s a “foodie” paradise! It’s one of the fastest-growing cities in America, but also has one of the highest homeless per capita.
